About these terms
These terms apply when you use www.siteoptixuk.com or buy a SiteOptix Operations Audit. By paying for an audit, you agree to them.
SiteOptix UK is the trading name of Mark Edgley, a sole trader. Contact: mark@siteoptixuk.com.
The Operations Audit is sold to businesses only. By buying it, you confirm that you are acting for a business and not as a consumer.
The Operations Audit
The audit is a fixed-fee review of where revenue, time and operational control may be getting lost across your operation. It includes a short questionnaire completed by you before the interview, a structured 30-minute interview on Microsoft Teams, a review of the operational information you agree to share, and a written Operations Audit Report delivered within 72 hours of the interview.
The fee is £495, paid in full by card when you book. SiteOptix UK is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. There are no other charges, and buying the audit does not commit you to any further service.
Booking, rescheduling and refunds
After paying, you book your interview through our online calendar. Interviews are available on weekdays and need at least 72 hours' notice.
Rescheduling: you can move your interview once, free of charge, with at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancelling before the interview: we will refund the fee in full if you cancel at least 24 hours before your interview.
After the interview: the fee is not refundable once the interview has taken place, because work on your report has begun.
If we cancel: if we cannot hold the interview or deliver the report, we will offer a new date or a full refund, at your choice.
If you do not return the questionnaire at least 24 hours before your interview, we may ask to move the interview to a later date.
Your responsibilities
The quality of the report depends on the information you give us. You agree to complete the questionnaire at least 24 hours before your interview; give information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and say where figures are estimates; share only information you are entitled to share; and remove personal data about individual employees from any documents before sending them.
The report
The report sets out findings, evidence, estimated impact, priority and recommended actions, based on the information available during the audit.
Estimates, not guarantees. Any financial impact is an estimate. The audit does not guarantee that any saving or additional revenue will be achieved.
Not legal, financial or tax advice. The report is an operational review. Take professional advice before acting on anything with legal, contractual or tax consequences.
Your decisions. You decide which recommendations to act on, and you are responsible for how they are put in place.
Use of the report. You may use and share the report within your business. Our methods, templates and know-how remain ours.
Confidentiality and data
We treat everything you share as confidential and use it only to produce your report. A non-disclosure agreement can be signed before your interview on request; where one is signed, it takes priority over this section.
We delete your questionnaire answers, our notes, the documents you shared and our copy of your report 30 days after the report is delivered. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including the service providers we use.
Liability
We carry out the audit with reasonable skill and care.
Our total liability to you in connection with the audit is limited to the fee you paid. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of revenue, or any indirect or consequential loss, or for losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete information you gave us.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your audit is the one shown when you paid. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
